A Place where Stories Linger

Positioned across from the children’s area of the Edmonton Public Library, UGO suggests a moment where stories continue beyond the page.

Site Integration

Because UGO was conceived in close collaboration with the design team from the outset of the Centennial Plaza renewal, it looks fully embedded in the architecture and landscape.

Strategically positioned directly across from the children’s area of the Stanley A. Milner Public Library, the sculpture relates to ideas formed through reading and storytelling that take physical shape outside.

UGO appears to be a character who has wandered out of the library.
