Shaped by Water
The Pointe draws inspiration from Pointe-aux-Pins Creek and its journey through the surrounding landscape. The organic contours of the panels intertwine with a vivid blue line representing flowing water, while a quieter line appears and disappears, evoking the creek’s former courses and the shifting memory of the land.
A Welcoming Landmark
Installed alongside the entrance to The Pointe, the artwork transforms the building’s long façade into a welcoming landmark. Its colour and sweeping sculptural form bring movement and character to the architecture, connecting the event facility to the surrounding landscape.
